Organizers

Run your own fishing tournament

Set up a catch-photo tournament in minutes — for your club, your lake, or a full licensed event with hundreds of anglers. No entry caps, no platform cut. Fish any lake in Manitoba, or lock your event to specific waters. And every catch is verified before it touches the leaderboard:

📸

Phone timestamp is official

The catch is stamped with the phone's clock the moment the picture is taken — on the website or in the app, even with no service. A catch made inside your tournament window counts even if it uploads hours later. The app snaps photos in-app only; every website entry passes organizer review.

📍

GPS on every catch

Coordinates are stamped with each photo and shown to you on a map. Catches outside Manitoba are rejected automatically.

🗺️

Your waters, your boundaries

Set the tournament for any lake — or a list of lakes. Want a specific bay or stretch? Pull the full list of catches with their GPS pins and enforce your own boundaries.

🔍

Duplicate detection

The same photo submitted twice — by anyone — gets flagged for your review.

✅

Organizer review

You approve every catch before it hits the leaderboard, and can disqualify with one tap.

📵

Log it at the boat

Photo, GPS and timestamp are captured offline — the camera roll can't be used, so every entry is the real moment.

⏱️

Stamped when taken

The official catch time is the phone's timestamp at the shutter, not when it uploads.

🔄

Syncs itself

Entries upload on their own when service returns. The leaderboard fills in as anglers come back online.

📺

Full-screen leaderboard

Put the live board on a TV or projector at weigh-in — it refreshes itself, and anyone can open it on their phone.

Lake Winnipeg (Hecla Island / Gull Harbour area)

Walleye (greenbacks)

Anglers posting on YouTube and social media in late September and early October 2026 report a strong fall greenback walleye bite off Hecla Island, with guided boats landing 40+ walleye in a day, multiple fish over 27 inches, and one guide boat reporting a 100-fish day with two Manitoba Master Angler walleye. Simple jigs with plastic or live bait near the Gull Harbour lighthouse are the pattern being shared.

Red River (near Lockport)

Channel catfish, Walleye, Northern pike, Freshwater drum

Posts from October 2026 describe productive fall fishing on the Red River near Lockport: a guided pontoon trip on Oct 6 landed multiple large channel catfish with the top fish earning a Manitoba Master Angler mention, and an Oct 1 trip report shows a mixed bag of northern pike, greenback walleye, bullhead catfish, and freshwater drum.

Waterhen River

Walleye, Freshwater drum

Cat Eye Outfitter posted a fall trip report from Manitoba's Waterhen River in mid-September 2026 showing several large walleye and a freshwater drum, presented as promotion for guided fall walleye trips. This is a guide marketing post, so treat it as a signal of fish being caught rather than an independent catch report.

Whitemud River

Walleye

Cat Eye Outfitter's head guide posted on Oct 2, 2026 describing the Whitemud River as a productive trophy fall walleye fishery while advertising October guided trips. This is a guide marketing post, so treat it as a signal of fish being caught rather than an independent catch report.

Reported 2026-10-06

Biting now

Lake Manitoba (Narrows)

Walleye

Cat Eye Outfitter posted a fall walleye catch at the Lake Manitoba Narrows on Sept 30, 2026, after wind forced the guide off Hecla. A separate Oct 4 community notice says the Narrows filleting station and porta-potty/garbage services close after the Oct 16-18 weekend, suggesting the fall season there is winding down.

Lake Winnipegosis (Toba region)

Walleye, Largemouth bass

An angler posted a Sept 30, 2026 carousel of trophy catches from the Lake Winnipegosis/Toba region in Manitoba, including a walleye and a largemouth bass. The exact water body is not named in the post, so this is a regional signal rather than a lake-specific report.

Reported 2026-10-06

Biting now

Northern Manitoba lakes (water body not named)

Northern pike, Walleye, Lake trout

An angler's Oct 5, 2026 carousel documents a multi-day fall trip in Northern Manitoba with large northern pike, walleye, and lake trout caught from a small aluminum boat across changing weather. The specific lake is not named, so this is a regional signal only.

Reported 2026-10-06

Biting now

Hillside Beach area, Manitoba (lake not specified in post)

Walleye (greenbacks)

An Oct 4, 2026 post advertising fall fishing at Hillside Beach, Manitoba mentions 'biting greenbacks' (walleye) alongside fall colors and crisp air. The post is promotional, so treat it as a signal of walleye being caught in the area rather than a detailed catch report.
