About this lake

A shallow prairie lake east of the town of Dauphin, between Riding Mountain and Duck Mountain, with an average depth of only 2.35 m. Annual index netting shows walleye as the dominant species, with northern pike, yellow perch, suckers and bullheads. It drains via the Mossy River into Lake Winnipegosis.
