About

Sasa-Ginni-Gak Lodge (Sas Lodge) is a family-owned fly-in fishing lodge on Sasaginnigak Lake in the Atikaki Provincial Wilderness Park, part of the Pimachiowin Aki UNESCO World Heritage Site. The lodge has welcomed anglers for nearly 60 years, fishing for northern pike, walleye, and lake trout. It runs outcamps on Charron, Apisko, and Keschismeeneko (Cathy's) lakes. The Johnson family operates its own airline, Northway Aviation, for the 45-minute flight in. Note: the lake sits near 51.9N, south of the 53N guideline, but the lodge is fly-in only within a protected wilderness park.
