About

A fly-in-only fishing and hunting lodge on Matheson Lake in northwest Manitoba, run by John and Lori Frank. It is the only lodge on the lake, with catch-and-release fishing for northern pike, walleye and lake trout, plus a single-cabin fly-in outcamp on fourteen-mile-long Plumbtree Lake. Alongside the fishing program they sell guided spring black bear and fall moose hunt-and-fish combos from an exclusive area that sees almost no other hunting pressure, and color-phase bears are common here.
