About
Moak Lodge calls itself 'one of Manitoba's best drive-to fisheries for trophy Northern Pike, Burbot and Walleye,' located on Cross Bay of Cedar Lake – just north of the 53rd parallel, 450 km north of Winnipeg and 15 km NNW of the town of Grand Rapids. The lodge offers cabin rentals, tent and RV campsites, rental boats, bait, tackle and ice. Cedar Lake was created in the early 1960s by the Grand Rapids hydro dam on the Saskatchewan River; its flooded forest of sunken timber, drop-offs and mix of gravel, limestone and mud bottoms hold walleye, northern pike, lake whitefish, cisco, perch and burbot, and the lodge sits close to stocked trout water. Winter accommodations stay open for ice fishing season.
