Elk Island Lodge is a remote fly-in lodge on God's Lake in northeast Manitoba, built around trophy fishing for northern pike, walleye, lake trout and brook trout, with experienced guides and fly-outs to God's River for huge brook trout. The lodge runs ten modern log cabins with showers plus a licensed dining room, bar, hot tubs, tackle shop, games room and fireside lounge. Outpost camps on Edmund Lake and Kistigun Lake extend the fishing beyond the main lodge. Open June to September, it is reached only by air with a 3,800-ft landing strip about 1.5 hours from Winnipeg.
