About this lake
One of southern Manitoba's few smallmouth bass lakes, William Lake sits in Turtle Mountain Provincial Park south of Boissevain. The province's angling guide gives it a special smallmouth limit, and it is also listed as a stocked trout water with brown trout present. It is a scenic, small-boat lake where bass are the main draw and perch and trout round out the day.
