About this lake
Wellman is the Ducks' multi-species hotspot and one of the park's busiest angling destinations. Walleye, hard-fighting smallmouth, big northerns, and perch all share this 425-hectare lake, so it is hard to get bored here. Three launches with docks, two filleting shacks, and a full-service campground make access easy. Cast floating raps along weedlines for smallies in June and jig walleye late spring and late summer.
