About this lake
War Eagle Lake is a remote Whiteshell lake about four miles long by three miles wide, reached by ATV from Inverness Falls Resort, which runs the only cabin on the lake with a boat and motor included. The lake's structure-heavy rock and mud bottom keeps smallmouth bass and northern pike happy, with perch also present and Master Angler bass recorded. It is a true getaway - no public launch, no crowds.
