About this lake
A deep backcountry lake in the Porcupine Provincial Forest that was once a trophy rainbow destination until pike encroachment ended the rainbow stocking. Today it is a lake trout and arctic char fishery with pike. It is small-watercraft only and usually reached by 4x4 in summer or snowmobile in winter along an old haul trail; the trail crosses First Nation land, so check permission before crossing.
