Star Lake
About this lake
Star Lake is a smallmouth bass favourite in the Whiteshell - a Hunt Fish Manitoba day trip there produced endless medium-sized smallies plus a 23-inch walleye and a Master Angler black crappie in a single outing. The 2022 fisheries assessment found walleye, smallmouth bass, black crappie, northern pike, rock bass and yellow perch, with walleye fry stocked most years since 2011. The Nite Hawk Cafe sits just around the bend from the boat launch for a post-fishing meal.
