About this lake
A large, clear Canadian Shield lake just south of Thompson in Paint Lake Provincial Park, renowned for dense populations of thick-bodied walleyes. Northern pike are also abundant. Paint Lake Lodge on its shore offers cabins, a full-service restaurant and boat rentals.
