About this lake
Lake St. George is a north-Interlake drive-to lake about 176 kilometres north of Winnipeg, well known for walleye, northern pike and perch fishing. A provincial park campground with 28 basic sites plus a boat launch and dock sits on its shore, making it one of the most accessible walleye lakes in the northern Interlake. Special regulations protect larger fish: all walleye over 45 cm must be released.
