About this lake
A clear, spring-fed lake straddling the Canada-US border in the Turtle Mountains, Lake Metigoshe offers walleye, northern pike and perch in a scenic wooded setting. The Manitoba portion is quieter than the developed North Dakota side, with a public beach and the year-round Turtle Mountain Resort on the Canadian shore. It is a good multi-species lake for families who want fishing plus swimming and trails.
