About this lake

Caddy Lake sits on the Whiteshell River near the Ontario border and is famous for the rock tunnels under the rail lines that connect it to South Cross and North Cross lakes - paddling through them is a classic Whiteshell outing. The lake covers about 300 hectares with a maximum depth of 5.7 metres, and fishing yields master angler catches of walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, black crappie, rock bass and yellow perch. The province runs a seasonal campground on the west shore, and Green Bay Resort sits on the east shore.

Size: about 300 hectares

Max depth: 5.7 m
