Bird Lake
About this lake
Bird Lake is the southern gateway lake of Nopiming Provincial Park, with a provincial campground, boat launch, fish-cleaning facility and Nopiming Lodge within walking distance. The 2022 fisheries assessment found walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, rock bass, burbot, cisco and lake whitefish, with half a million walleye fry stocked in 2021. The Area A rule applies: all walleye over 45 cm must be released.
